Hi, I’m Yuko Niizeki, a licensed acupuncturist and moxibustionist in Niseko,
Japan.
My journey began in massage therapy, where I often felt there was a deeper layer I
couldn’t quite reach with my hands alone. Acupuncture offered that missing
depth—a way to work at the root of pain, stress, and imbalance—so I pursued the
national licenses for acupuncture and moxibustion.
Since then, I’ve blended classical East Asian philosophy with modern anatomical
research to create gentle yet highly effective treatments. Whether you’re dealing
with autonomic nervous-system imbalances, insomnia, menopause, or chronic
pain such as low-back tension, headaches, and shoulder stiffness, I tailor each
session to your specific needs. When appropriate, I incorporate low-frequency
electro-acupuncture and precise trigger-point work to release fascial restrictions,
enhance circulation, and stimulate your body’s innate healing capability.
The room for my practice is clean and practical. It is a private room giving you the
chance to relax completely without worrying about other clients.
Clients often tell me they finally sleep through the night, notice a firmer facial
contour after cosmetic acupuncture, or feel warm and light in areas that had been
stiff and painful for years. If you’re new to acupuncture, I’ll walk you through the
single-use hygiene protocols, and what sensations to expect, so you can settle in
with confidence.
Beyond the clinic, I recharge by trekking in the Himalayas, carving fresh lines on
my snowboard, and immersing myself in Indian classical music. The calm focus
and natural flow I find in those experiences shape my approach to my
acupuncture treatments. I aim to guide your body and mind back to the state of
effortless being.
If you want to be a healthier, more comfortable version of yourself, I’d be honored
to help you uncover it. Let’s work together towards a lighter, pain-free, balanced
life.
